[PIAS] Comedy, part of the [PIAS] Entertainment Group, is a comedy label with offices in Amsterdam and Brussels and Barcelona, specialized in exploiting stand-up comedy content.

After starting in the Dutch and Belgian markets in 2004, we successfully launched our international set up in 2008 with partnerships in Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, UK, Germany, US and Canada.

Over the years we have worked with more than 100 comedians from all over the world. Our catalogue includes comedians who are huge in their local territories, such as Hans Teeuwen, Alex Agnew and Najib Amhali as well as some of the world’s most successful international comedians like Jeff Dunham, Kevin Hart, Russell Peters and Gabriel Iglesias.

We produce DVD’s and distribute our catalogue via TV, VoD, and various digital platforms. Alongside local stores (physical and digital) you can also find our content via international outlets such as Itunes, Youtube and Netflix, etc.

Working closely with YouTube in particular we’ve successfully launched our ‘Comedystation’ channel. On this channel you will find content made exclusively for Youtube and also extracts from all of our shows and a fine selection of ‘the best of the rest’.

Over the years we’ve built a strong worldwide network of comedians, managers, live promoters, broadcasters, agents, distributors, clubs, theaters, comedy fans and many other people active in the world of stand-up comedy.

We attend various international comedy festivals every year and promote international live shows in Holland and Belgium, as well as other European territories, working with local partners.

On the sales side, we attend MIP Com and MIP TV every year, as well as other select TV/VOD markets to develop our sales and distribution arm.
